About P.J.

Paul Pedroncelli, Jr.
P.J. made his racing debut in 2004 at the age of 14 racing a bomber car in Ukiah CA. He continued racing the bomber car at Ukiah in 2005 while also beginning his Modified career the same season. In 2006 PJ participated in 48 races throughout California and Arizona. His highlights of 2006 were his two feature wins, three trophy dash wins, one fast time and Rookie of the Year at Altamont Motorsports Park in Tracy CA. P.J. also received Rookie of the year at the Ukiah Speedway where he ended 5th in points with four top five finishes, eight top ten and four heat race wins.
Participating in more than 30 races and eight different tracks in 2007, some highlights were racing in North Carolina in an ASA type Modified race car. Wrapping up his 2007 season P.J. returned to California and raced his dad’s 360 Winged Sprint car in Petaluma CA.
In preparation for the 2008 season, Pedroncelli Motorsports purchased two Camping World Series cars and P.J.’s career was launched. P.J. made his first NASCAR Camping World Series West debut at the Irwindale Speedway in CA. on July 4, 2008. P.J. has always had the desire to be a racecar driver, inheriting his talent and love of racing from his father, Paul Pedroncelli, Sr., a retired racecar driver and owner of Pedroncelli Motorsports. They, along with other family members, make up the team of Pedroncelli Motorsports.
